Alfred J. Days was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on September 30,1950, at the Philadelphia General Hospital. His parents were Arthur Days and Mary Scott Days. Alfred was educated in the Parochial school system. He graduated 12th grade from Our Lady of Confidence Catholic School.
Alfred was employed at a company in the Germantown area of Philadelphia, close to his home. It was his responsibility to direct the tractor trailers in and out of the areas at that place of business. Unfortunately, while performing his duties on this job he was severely injured. Those injuries affected him for the remainder of his life.
Alfred was a devout member and deacon in a Methodist church. He was faithful to the Holsey Temple Methodist Church in Germantown until his passing. Alfred was known to have a loving heart. He was well loved by his family
He leaves to mourn one sister, Arnette Gonzales, one brother-in-law Ramon Gonzales, four nieces and two nephews, several grandnieces and grandnephews, one aunt Mrs. Lilly Goins, a special care giving cousin, Alberta Scott, as well as a host of other cousins.
