Angelina Belcher

Angelina Belcher was born in Philadelphia Pa on August 9,1951 the 5th of 10 children of the late Leroy and Annie Ryans. Angelina was known as Angie.

Angie received her education in the Philadelphia public school system. She graduated from Kensington High School in June of 1969. After high school she worked at a cigar factory and a cable booster company. In 1981 Angie worked for a real estate company by the name of Alton Pough real estate until the year of 1984. Shortly into that year she was employed at United Cerebral Palsy Ass. known as Blossom today

Angie joined Deliverance Revival Church December of 2007 under Reverend Y.D. Saunders whom loved Angie dearly. She was baptized October 2008 and served on the usher board until Reverend Saunders relocated to another state. However, that never discouraged Angie from loving the Lord.

Angie had a passion for reading books, crocheting blankets and spending time with her 3 grandchildren. She would come pick one of the 3 up on Saturday mornings for breakfast and to get her favorite “hoagies and chips”. She became even closer to her grandchildren when her health began to fail her in July 2019 when she moved in with her daughter whom she loved dearly. Angie was very quiet and had a heart of gold but best believe you better not cross her. Give her a good book and a ginger ale and she would be content. During her last 7 months while living with her daughter, son in law, and grands she enjoyed herself by having many laughs and staying up late to watch boxing and a good lifetime movie. She would also sit on her phone until the battery ran low on you tube watching cooking shows.

Angie was preceded in death by her parents Leroy and Annie, 2 sisters Mary & Lillian, 4 brothers Michael, Matthew, Joseph and Leon, neice Angie (her name sake), nephews Derrick, Michael & Otis,. She leaves to cherish her warm memories her only child Jamila, 3 grandchildren Jabree, Keyante & Jacques, her son in law Keenan, 3 brothers Baron, Augustine, & Thomas, 2 very dear friends that were like her sisters Lula & Debbie, godson Raheem goddaughter Nicole, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, & family.
