Charles Edward Talbert entered this world on January 4, 1954. He was always called Chuck or Chuckie by family and friends.
Charles was a unique individual with amazing thoughts and ideas. He was a hard worker from childhood. As a child he'd load groceries into cars in order to earn his own money.
In his young adult years, he joined the Marines.
After being honorably discharged from the service, he continued working as a civilian with the government. In later years he became and advocate for veterans, helped with the census, drove a cab, among other jobs.
Chuckie came through the Philadelphia school system and earned his diploma. In later years he completed many college courses. Chuck had a drive to improve himself.
Chuckie's relationships with family and friends were complex and not easily understood. He lived his life as he thought he should.
Charles exited this world on February 7, 2022. He leaves behind his son, Charles Prince Edward Talbert; daughters, Felicia Denise Watkins and Fonta Rashida High.
