Christine Mobley Portlock

Christine Mobley Portlock was born in Gastonia, North Carolina March 16, 1942. Early Saturday morning Aunt Kitty had a calling no one can but her could hear and it was for her to come home. The Morning of October 10, 2020 Christine answered that calling. Christine known by everyone as Aunt Kitty or Chris had a heart of gold, she would do everything she could to help her family and friends. Our family learned much from Aunt Kitty. A piece of us will go with her and a piece of Aunt Kitty will always be with us forever . Aunt Kitty was the 10th child out of 11 children from Rosa Mobley and John Mobley. She was the last child that preceded in death from her siblings Keary, Queen, Albert, Leroy, Herman, Bernice, A.C, Mable Lee, Charlie, and Aunt Yula. Early in Aunt Kitty Years she with-child a son Cochise Mobley which preceded death right after birth. Aunt Kitty Married Frank L. Portlock in 1990 which made her very happy. Uncle Frank preceded in death in 2002. Aunt Kitty worked for many years making police men hats at Keystone Uniform Cap. Aunt Kitty lived a very good life. She leaves to mourn a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
