Elisha Torrence

Elisha Ann Torrence was born on August 31, 1958 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was the youngest daughter of John Kennedy and Maggie Torrence. From a young age she was affectionately known as "Ann or Annie" by her family. Elisha received her education through the Philadelphia Public School System. Elisha was known for her sense of humor, love for cooking and being the "Life of the Party."

Elisha was gainfully employed from a young age. She worked for the School District of Philadelphia at Wister Elementary School for ten years. She worked as an Acquisitions Specialist and retired from the Federal Government for over thirty years.

Elisha's persona was loving and nurturing. Although she didn't have any children of her own... she had a relationship with her nieces and nephews. Elisha is survived by her sister Terrie Sumter, nephew Ronell Sumter, nieces Josezette Sumter , Syreeta Lucas and a host of great nieces and great nephews & friends..

Funeral services and interment will be held at Rolling Green Memorial Park @ 11:00 am.
