Elizabeth Holsinger

In loving memory of Elizabeth May Holsinger who was born on August
1, 1955 to Levirteen and Edna May, Elizabeth was born in Harlem
Hospital and grew up on the Lower East Side where she attended
Washington Irving High School she graduated with high honors. She
also studied nursing in her later years Elizabeth had two children Detra
Foye and Nefertari Branch, once her children were grown she then
relocated to Philadelphia PA. Once Elizabeth got to Philadelphia her life
changed for the better, her ambition was to help those who were less
fortunate than herself she worked in a recovery house for women she
also worked with children and the elderly with disabilities. Elizabeth
Accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and savior at True Fellowship Church
of Philadelphia Inc. under the leadership of Bishop Howard A Jones Sr.
D.D. Elizabeth became God's faithful servant as she founded the Bible
Fellowship that continued in her home for seven years. We honestly
can say that God Favored Elizabeth Holsinger. In the year of 2006 she
met Joseph Holsinger and they fell in love. In 2008 Elizabeth married
the love of her life Joseph Holsinger.
Elizabeth was promoted to glory this very sad day on January 22, 2019.
Elizabeth is survived by her beloved husband Joseph Holsinger, two
daughters Detra Monique Foye and Nefertari Evelyn Branch, Tanya
Harrison from Albany Ny , step daughter Shannon Hollsinger from
Detroit Michigan. Her mother Edna May and four siblings Gloria
Henderson from Charlotte North Carolina, Levirteen May II, Sylvia May
and David May, all from New York City, 6 grandchildren 4 great Grands
and a host of family and friends.
