Ellena Kinloch

Ellena Kinloch, daughter of the late Hezekiah and Mary Rhodes was born May 2, 1930 in Walterboro, South Carolina. Ellena Kinloch departed this life from labor to reward on July 7, 2019 to be in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

She received her education in Georgetown South Carolina. She then married her high school sweetheart Nathaniel F. Kinloch on December 23, 1050 and from that union four beautiful children were born.

She relocated to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she was employed by the S&H Hat Company for a period of thirty-five years until she retired. She became a member of Wayland Temple Baptist Church in the early sixties. She loved making hat and helping others in need.

She was a loving caring and devoted mother. There are so many sweet memories of Ellena that we will cherish within our hearts. We can never prepare ourselves for such a loss but we can find comfort in the memories we have for Ellena as well as the love of family.

Ellena leaves to cherish her beloved memory: her four beautiful daughters: Jacquelyn, Gwendolyn, Mary and Nattie; one son in law, Paul O’Hannon; grandchildren: Paula Kinloch, Subrea and Bassam Lakish Maggline Scott, Kareem and Shiquita Baker, David Baker and Sterling Baker; six great grandchildren; one great-greatgrandchild; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives along with family and friends who will miss her dearly.
