Eric Kayto Harper was born May 21, 1968 in Philadelphia to the late Calvin Crawford and Lena Simpson. Kayto suddenly passed and went on to receive his wings on March 30, 2020.
He was educated in the Philadelphia school district where he made many friends and humbled many foes. He was a professor of life who earned his masters from the school of hard knocks and went on to becoming a captivating story teller. Kayto was proud of his heritage. He never passed up an opportunity to share his wisdom.
On May 1990, Kayto was united in holy matrimony to Luz Lugo, who he would affectionately call Lulu. They would go on to have three beautiful children. Not only was he a great husband and father, he was a protector, nurturer, charismatic, wise, honest, blunt, funny, a mentor, leader, a naturalist and amongst many more, he loved a good debate. And this is what defines his spirit.
He leaves to mourn his wife Luz Harper, two sons, Eric and Aaron, one daughter, Anastacia, one adopted daughter, Helena, five grandchildren; Alona, Nia, Omarii, Keen, and AJ, three sisters: Sabrina, Donna and Diane; and three brothers: Speedy, Jerry, and Terry. In addition to the aforementioned, he also leaves behind aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
