Evelyn Christine Martin was born on July 26, 1940 in Macon Georgia. the daughter of the late Eddie and Mary Martin. She was educated in the Georgia public school system. At an early age she was baptised at Memorial Baptist sChurch under the leadership of the late Rev J.T Saxon.
Epp as she was affectionally called, moved to Philadelphia, Pa in the 1950's where she settled down and became a mother of two children Theodore and Carol Ann whom she adored.
Epp was a good person who had a heart of gold when it came to her family, she also made friends easily and got along with everyone she came in contact with. She enjoyed life, she loved to take trips to Atlantic City Casino, working on her crosswords puzzzles, playing cards and cooking for her family. She also was a fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and enjoyed watching them play.
Epp was preceded in death by her daughter Carol Ann Martin, her grandson Steven Martin, four sisters Edna Mae Glover, Jimmie Lee Martin, Carrie Smith, Betty Jean Waters and one brother Chadwick Martin Epp leaves to mourn her son Theodore Martin, Grandsons Thomas Boyd and Hakeem Martin, two great grandchildren Neriah Daniel and Nahari Martin, one brother John Martin, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
