Fannie Mae Washington Taylor was born September 2, 1941 as the seventh child of nine born to Pearl & William Washington .She peacefully transitioned to heaven on September 6, 2019.
Fannie grew up on the 1600 block of Alden Street with all of her siblings. Fannie attended the Philadelphia school system. Later in life, Fannie to became a mother to eight children. Her oldest three: Pearl Washington Swindell-Taylor, Anthony, and Jimmie. Later she met Archie Mack Holland and together they had five more children:Archie, Micheal, Maxine, Earlene and Rose. Fannie was employed in the restaurant industry with Archie Mack at 22nd & Lehigh Sts.
In the 1970's, Fannie met MC Taylor and they were united in holy matrimony. Then in the late 80's MC Taylor passed away. After mourning the life of her husband, she met Daniel Thomas who became her life long partner they remained together until her death.
Fannie enjoyed going out and having fun, playing the lottery, she was good with numbers. She was a feisty woman. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by MC Taylor, her siblings: Josephine Harris, Robert, Willie-Mae,Raymond, Jimmy, & Gertrude Edwards, two sons: Anthony Archie and a grandson:Ronald.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Pearl Taylor, Jimmie, Micheal, Maxine, Earlene and Rose. Twenty three grands & forty three great grands. Sisters: Christine and Pearl a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
