A Time to be Born
Geraldine Pannell was born in South Carolina on August 25, 1925 to the late Sam Allen and Marie Allen, She was baptized at an early age.
A Time to Grow
Geraldine received her education in the South Carolina public school system. Geraldine then moved to Columbus, Ohio. She served under the F.A.M Mason as a Eastern Star, also a member of Royal Star Chapter #14 of Columbus, Ohio for many years. Geraldine worked for Heartland Victorian Village as a head chef as well as Lazarus bakery in Columbus Ohio until retirement.
She met and married Staff Sergeant Trinkle Kermit Pannell in Columbus, Ohio. They were married for over 52 years, To this union one child was born Carlton Pannell. She had several hobbies which included traveling, and playing bingo. She loved going out to eat at various restaurants especially Bob Evans. Geraldine was a social butterfly who enjoyed life to its fullest.
Geraldine resided in Columbus Ohio by herself until her health began to decline. Geraldines (niece) Katie Doggett Bought Geraldine to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to be around her loved ones and get the special health care she needed . She received assisted living in Philadelphia at Arbor Terrace Assisted Living.
She enjoyed all activities from a variation of games, music, and conversing with other residents and staff making them laugh. As her health continued to decline she relocated to Harriston Hall for critical care and closer supervision until she departed this life.
A Time to Die
On November 16, 2015 Geraldine Pannell departed this earthly life at Harriston Hall Nursing Home, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Geraldine was preceded in death by (husband) Staff Sergeant Trinkle Kermit Pannell, (Son) Carlton Pannell, 4 Sisters, Lena O'Hannon, Florine Jones, Leola Palmore, Margaret Stinson and 3 Brothers, Luther, Ossie & William Allen
A Time to Mourn
She leaves to cherish many memories: one sister Lois Foster and a host of nieces, nephews, great neices and great nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Special cousins, Walter & Phillis Pannell and special friends Creola Houston and Berniece Martin.
