James Stone

James Sebastian Stone, (71), of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed away on April 4, 2020 in Philadelphia. James was born in Philadelphia to James and Elizabeth Hart Stone on March 28, 1949.

He was affectionately known as Jimmy Stone. He was a talented photographer, loved Jazz and riding his bicycle. He was also a skilled tailor and at one time made most of his own suits.

He was baptized by the Catholic Church.

He and Sherrye Richardson were united in holy matrimony and had a 30 year relationship.

James served in the Navy. James is preceded in death by his parents.

James is survived by his wife, two sisters, Karen and Kathy Stone, nephew Charles Stone, grandson Xavier Walker, and nieces, Skylar and Daaiyah.

Additionally, step-daughter, Siobhan Richardson and grandchildren, Kacey and Bryant 'the little one'.

He will be missed by his many cousins, in-laws, a special group of friends from the 30th Street Post Office, other friends, former co-workers, and acquaintances.
