James West

James Coleman West was born in Philadelphia, PA on June 25, 1948 to the late Coleman West and Effie Mae Green. He departed this life on October 4, 2018.

Education

James received his education in the Philadelphia school system graduating from Thomas Edison high school. After graduation, James enlisted in the US Marines where he served 6 years receiving an Honorable Discharge for his service.

Job

Throughout his life, James worked various jobs, but he would eventually work his last job with SEPTA from which he retired after 25 years.

Hobbies

James lived a quiet and simplistic life, he loved and cherished his family and close friends. James was also an avid computer geek. He loved any and everything dealing with the latest technology.

James met the love of ihs life, Theresa, and they married in 1997. He was preceded in death by his brother Melvin and his sister Mildred.

James leaves to cherish his memories his loving and devoted wife Theresa, his daughters Jamece (Yusef), Jennifer (Jack), Patrice (Frank), and Aliyah (Billy), his sons Sean, Jamaal, and Marquis (Cierra), 2 brothers Edward (Jean), Joseph, 3 sister in laws Barbara, Shirley, and Bernadette, and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
