Janice Ellington

Janice Ellington was born in Philadelphia, PA on July 1, 1960 to Mary Jones and Robert Ellington. She departed this life on October 14, 2015.

She was baptized at an early age at New Gethshmave Baptist Church. She received her education in the Philadelphia public school system and later went on to receive her GED. Janice was employed at Comcast as a customer service technician for several years, before becoming ill. Janice was a loving mother to her 4 children, Germaine, Timothy, Terrine and Neffetiti.

Janice had several hobbies which included listening to old school music and spending time with her dog cinnamon whom she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her sister Shelah Jones and her parents, Mary Jones and Robert Ellington. She is serviced by her three sons, Terrine, Germaine Ellington, and Timothy Brooks; one daughter Neffetiti; one sister Muriel,one grandchild, Terreshia Haynes; Ardeshia Haynes; three brothers, Glenn, Mark and Robert, five nieces and nephews, Sonia, Manie, Kasey, Vernon and Terrance; ten great nieces and nephews, Shana, Broody, Mykera, Malaya, Diesha, Lil Russell, Shane, Alujah, Amya, and Nasir. Special Friends, Kim, Ms. Anita, Victor, Barbara and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
