Jean Brown was born to the late Dorothy Brown in Philadelphia, PA on September 19, 1941. Jean was educated in the Philadelphia school system graduating from John Bartram High School. In the early 1990’s she was hired by the Penpad factory where she worked for more than 25 years and retired .
Jean was reborn in May 29,1960 through receiving Jesus Christ as her savior and Lord of external life. She was baptized and received into fellowship at St. Malachy’s Church.
Jean met and married Perry Morris in her early years, where they fell in love and got married. Out of this union came six children.
Jean will long be remembered for her compassion, humor, generosity, and great love for her family. When time allowed Jean loved to take trips to the casino and playing card games with family and friends. During the holidays she loved cooking with her children and grandchildren.
Jean preceded in death her mother Dorothy Brown, Perry Columbus Morris, Troy Brown, Antione Brown. Left to cherish her memory is her loving family Doris Brown, Jerry Brown, and Georgie Brown. Her children Tellitta Brown, Perry Brown, Pamela Brown, and Angela Brown. Thirteen grandchildren and ten great grand children. Long time friend Noonie and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
On November 5, 2020 the Lord called her home and she transitioned from earth to glory.
