Jenifer Lewis was born on May 20, 1962 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to the late Reverend Lee F. Lewis and Bettye Hall.
Proceeding her in death is her oldest sister Joyce. She joined her parents and her oldest sister on January 7 peacefully at 2:30 AM. She was surrounded by love and peace She is with her mom now. Just where she wanted to be.
She was educated in the Philadelphia public school systems until high school where she attended little flower Catholic high school for girls. She participated in various clubs. She ran on the track and field team, and certain community service corpse. She obtained an associates degree in accounting from community college of Pennsylvania.
Jennifer's relationship with God, began at a early age. She was associated with various committees and clubs of the church. When she served on these committees and clubs, she was truly dedicated. She was the leader.
Jenifer Lewis became a member of the 12-N-12 Group in May of 1996, that has been meeting at her church Mediator Lutheran Church since March of 1978. Jenifer walked into the 12-N-12 Group and heard the message of hope and recovery. Jenifer attended the 12-N-12 Group twice a week and became a active member of the group. Jenifer served her homegroup for many years holding different positions in the group including being the group GSR, carrying her group voice to the Fellowship as a whole. Over the years of Jenifer being a member of the 12-N-12 Group she fellowshipped with many members and traveled to many different places together carrying the message of hope and recovery. Next to her Church Family, the 12-N-12 Group became an important part of her life over the years. The 12-N-12 Group always held a special place in her heart ♥. Jenifer had over 26 years of continuous Sobriety in Recovery when God Called Her Home.
Dedicated to her family, Jennifer was an executive assistant with the county assistance office.
She leaves behind her sister, Sophia, her nephew, Brandon, and her great-nephew, Brandon, Junior. Michael Wisher. A host of family and friends. She will truly be missed.
