Juanita Collins-Taylor

Juanita Louise Taylor was born on March 2, 1965 in Chestnut Hill Hospital Philadelphia Pa to Fiesta Byrd Rich and James R. Rich being the first of six children born to their union.

Juanita was affectionately called “swan” by everyone who loved her. Swan received her education in the Philadelphia school system, graduating from M.L.King High School and entered into the Food Service and Hospitality Industry remaining until her health declined.

Swan loved life , whether it was shopping or going to the movies , rollerskating or just going to concerts she enjoyed herself. Juanita loved spending time with her family and friends and everyday was a new adventure. It was during one of her many exciting adventures that she met William Taylor. William and Swan married February 14, 2013, spending many adventures together and combining their two families.

The morning of July 31, 2018 after fighting a hard and courageous battle with cancer a piece of the world was called to rest , joining her parents Fiesta and James.

Swan leaves to cherish her memory: Her husband Will, her children Connie, Heather, Dominique, 5 blended daughters Royster , Latasha , Kia, Jasmine, Phila Pa 2 Blended sons Solomon and Rashawn, 2 sisters Dana Rich and Alesia Byrd , 3 brothers James Jr. ,Anthony Rich and Ellis Rich. 3 sisters in laws Kim Sharpton, Tirosha Taylor and Keesha Taylor, 2 Brother in laws Marlon Sharpton and Shawn Mormon, one Mother law – Mary C Harpton , one Father in law – Willie Taylor, 27 Grand Children and a host of aunts, uncles nieces , nephews , Cousins and friends.

To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
