Juanita L. Johnson was born in Philadelphia, P.A on December 15, 1964
to Herbert and Armetta G. Johnson. She departed this life on March 21, 2019.
Juanita received her education in the Philadelphia School System graduating
from Overbrook High School in 1982. After graduating high school she took
on a few choice jobs finally finishing her employment at Laurel Textile Company
of Philadelphia.
Juanita had a long relationship with our lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Juanita met and married Tommy Cross and to this union two children were born,
Marquita and Tommy Jr. Juanita was an avid reader and had an entense love
for music. She enjoyed games of challenge and was extremely knowledgable about
current and past events. She also was active in supporting various charities.
Juanita was preceded in death by her mother, Armetta G Johnson;
father Herbert Johnson; four brothers, Herbert, Watson, Willie and Emango.
Juanita leaves to cherish many memories: husband Tommy Cross; children,
Tommy Jr and Marquita; sisters, Armetta and Leslie; brothers, Tyson and Jeffery
and a host of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
