Larry Williams

Larry Joseph Williams was born on June 13, 1962 to Sylvia Williams and the late Solomon Williams Sr. in Philadelphia, Pa.

“Larry Love” as he was lovingly called, received his education at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic School from K-8, Roman Catholic High School, and completed his education at Simon Gratz High School class of “89-80”

Larry was brought up in the Catholic faith, in his later years he attended church services at Christian Love Worship Center under the guidance of now Bishop George Gibson

His passion was in the Behavioral Health Field where he worked with adults and children throughout the city of Philadelphia. He loved to cook, and entertain from catering events to the many cookouts, and parties he hosted throughout the years. He also loved to sing especially Luther Vandross. He had a happy spirit, once you met him you would never forget him he was real.

Larry was preceded in death by his siblings: Mona, Gary, Maxine, Cynthia, Calvin

Larry leaves to cherish his memory: daughter Khalilah Venable; son Khalif Williams Sr.; mother Sylvia Williams; brothers: Solomon, Anthony, Kevin, Keith; sisters: Gloria, Elizabeth , Geraldine, Denise, Karen, Janice, Lenny ; daughter- in -law Alexis; sister -in -laws Jackie, Evelyn, Carol ; aunt: Janie ; grandchildren: Nevaeh, Khalif Jr, Keyshawn, Kenya, Jayden, Jarren, Jermir, Anya, Aleshia; god –daughters: Summer, Autum, Kaylie; host of nieces, nephews, to the third and fourth generations, cousins, and special friends.
