Lila McClure

Lila T. McClure was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on April 15,1936 to Maizie Golson she departed this life on March 12, 2016. She was baptized at New Macedonia Baptist Church where she was an Usher. She received her education in the Philadelphia School System. She worked several jobs to support her family, her last job before she retired was with the Philadelphia School District as a Bus Attendant. She enjoyed traveling,and cooking for her family especially for the holidays, she was proud of her potato salad and her 7up cake, she was especially fond of her collections of elephants. She was preceded in death by her mother Maizie Golson, and two grandchildren Danetta & Joyce. She leaves to cherish many memories her children: Denise Myrick, Carol Bullock, Ebben Bullock her long time friend/sister Leola Womack a host of grandchildren: Cassandra, Myrick Bullock, Tameka, Keya,Tonya, Daveeda, Tamesha, Brianna, Rasheeda, Great-grandchildren:Mercedes, Gabriella, Giavynna-Love, Sasha, Hasan, Aalim, Gary,Tavia, Makani, MaKayla, Khalil, Kasima, Marcel, Great-Great-grandchildren: Elijah,Philant, Zaria, Nasir and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
