Linda Stevens

Lynda Stevens of 2210 North 13th, Street Philadelphia,

Pennsylvania, departed this life on Sunday, June 21, 2020, at home. Lynda was born on May 1, 1951, the daughter of Diego and Delores Stevens of New York City. Lynda was one of three children. Her older brother Glenn and younger sister Denise, preceded her in death. She was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic Religion at an early age. She was enrolled in the Catholic school System in her earlier years. She finished her education in the Philadelphia Public School System. She was a practical nurse and worked at several nursing homes. Lynda loved animals and she would bring home stray animals wherever she happened to find one needing shelter. She was a loving person who truly enjoyed life and will be missed.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her nephew Stacey L. Myers and his children Johnniesha Martin, Niykerrah Myers, and Shahyrra Myers. Her Aunt Harriett E. Smith and husband Alvin; her niece Glennette Myers and her daughter, Adrianna P. Richards; her cousin Obie Williams and his wife Elizabeth; and a host of friends and neighbors.
