Louis White

Louis Samuel White was born to the late Thomas Sr. and Maude E. White in Petersburg Virginia November 10th 1943. Louis transitioned on December 8, 2019 at the Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA.

Louis was reared as one of ten children. Louis matriculated through the Petersburg school system graduating from Peabody High School. After graduating from high school, Louis worked for Parham’s Clothing Store as a tailor for many years. Louis was an avid bowler and a member of multiple social clubs while a resident of Petersburg,Virginia. He also enlisted in the United States Army. Later in life, Louis relocated to Philadelphia,PA where he found employment in the construction industry. Louis fathered one daughter, Sabrina White of Philadelphia, PA. While in Philadelphia, Louis resided with Jean Brown for over 35 years. Louis retired from construction as a profession and found part time employment with Whosoever Gospel.

Louis was preceded in death by five brothers : Leroy White, Richard White, Larry White, James White and Thomas White and three sisters: Bertha Calton, Ineda Granderson, Lillian Bolton.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving family: his only daughter: Sabrina White-Capers(James), granddaughters: Sanabria, Jasmine and Asianna, great granddaughter: Amya Jewel White, last remaining sister: Nellie Proctor, long time friend: Jean Brown, her children Perry and Tallithea and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
