Lucille Pickett

Annie Lucille Hagwood Pickett one of 8 children born to Richard and Elizabeth Hagwood on May 20, 1921, in the city of Shriven GA. All have preceded her in death... Lucille was a very feisty and inquisitive child. She was better known as Lucille.

At an early age she accepted the Lord as her personal savior. She loved the Lord very much and became active in church.

Lucille had one son Dallas Dean who also preceded her in death. She later married Eddie Pickett and became stepmother to his 2 children Sandra and McKinley. Eddie, Sandra and McKinley also preceded her in death.

Lucille worked as a supervisor and child care worked for many years. Special thanks to Lucille for her untiring dedication to all the children that was ever in her care. Especially the 5 sons of Loraine.

Lucille was always active in church She was an usher, president of the senior choir, stewardess trustee, president of the missionary society But her greatest position was prayer warrior, and church mother. She loved to sing praises unto the Lord. Mother Pickett has been a member of Emmanuel AUMP Church for over 50 years. Emmanuel church family will be her very much.

She leaves to mourn, her special daughter Sylvia Lewis, a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grans.
