Marsha Smith

Marsha Louise Smith, was born in Buffalo, New York on September 13, 1952, to Sarah Melton and Robert Melton. She departed this life on September 8, 2015.

She was baptized at an early age at New Era Baptist Church. She received her education in the Philadelphia School System, graduating from Simon Gratz High School. After graduation, She went on to Thomas Jefferson (LPN), Honiman (RN) College.

Marsha was employed with the Medical College of Pennsylvania for over 25 Years. She retired in 1992. She met and married San Juan Smith, Sr. From this union 2 children were born.

She had several hobbies which included: sewing, cooking, shopping and reading. She also enjoyed spending time with all of her grandchildren.

Marsha was preceded in death by Sarah Melton, Robert Melton and her biological mother Alsorni

She leaves to cherish her memory, Husband, San Juan Smith, Sr.
2 sons Lawrence Smith (Debra Smith) and San Juan Smith, Jr. (Shanika L. Smith), 1 daughter, Latrish M. Dayes. 2 Sisters Shirley Dawson, Regina Williams, In Laws, Paul Williams, Oscar & Linda Merchant, Aaron & Donna Smith, Cecil Smith, Timothy Smith, Ronina Smith and Brenda Smith, 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
