Nathaniel Porter

Nathaniel Porter was born April 26th 1959 to Carl Hughes amd Rosalee Porter (both of whom proceeded him in death) in Philadelphila, PA. After his mother passed Nate was rasied by his older sister Ethel (whom also proceeded him in death).

Nate ws educated in the Phildelphia Public School system. In 1977 during his senior year of high school he joimed the U.S. Marines where he served three years. In 1980 he joined the U.S Navy. That same year Nate met and fell in love with Gisele Golden who he affectionately called Dee.

In his career Nate held man titles but finished his career at the Otis Spunkmeyer company where he worked for 15 years.

Nate was a family man. He and Dee had two wonderful children, a son, his "Main Man" Geoffrey, and a daughter Ursula. He also loved spending time with his siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Nate was known for his welcoming personality, quick wit, sense of humor and his love of Philadelphia sports teams especially the Philadelphia Eagles.

Nathaniel was called home on Wednesday August 26th.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Gisele "Dee" Porter, his son Geoffrey Porter, and his daughter Ursula Porter.

Seven siblings, (Brothers) Carl "Freddie" Porter, Rocmon Porter, Tyrone Porter Sr. and Anthony Porter. (Sisters) Diane Porter, Deborah Porter, and Elaine Porter. Two sister in laws, Sondra Golden and Lynn Porter.

A host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
