Phyllis Ann Wise born to Genavey Wise on April 21 1942 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She attended the Philadelphia school system.
Phyllis worked as a housekeeper, child care worker, bar maid, office manger for Philadelphia Welfare Rights Organization , Wefare Pride Inc. as a food stamp coordinator, Freeman & Choice Human Service Corp. Office manager & Board member, Philadelphia Summer Lunch Progam and part of Beechwood Street Clean Block.
Phyllis loved to listen to spirituals,and love to sing along with them.Most people were surprised that she knew all the words. She also liked playing cards, watching TV, also overseeing the neighborhood children playing in the street, keeping them safe from traffic. As well as coinciding them on their behavior etc.
Phyllis was preceded in death by: David G Freeman, Leressie A. Freeman, Virginia V. Hicks and David M. Freeman.
Phyllis leaves to mourn: Victoria Freeman (sister) niece: Anita Freeman, Karema Freeman nephew: Victor Freeman, Sample Freeman,Children through God: Okea Green,Samuel Conyer Family through God: Maurice & George Butts, Maurice Wilson, & Courtney Carroll and many friends and love ones.
Special Thanks To: Dr. James Doghramji, who went far beyond his medical profession. Who had the love of his patient and bed side manners that has not been seen in years. God really blessed us with him. We also want to thank the Hospice staff with their professional care. Along with Rev. Funny Kuruvilla, of Ressurection of Life Church at 17th &Tioga Street. G. Choice Funeral Chapel, a family Organization who always go far beyond for families. We are blessed to have God placed these individuals across our path. Thank you and love you all.
