Raesheil Renee Mitchell was born September 26, 1980 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Sarah Berrian and Raetheon Mitchell. She was educated in the Philadelphia public school system, and graduated from Keystone Job Corp in 1998. Rae worked as a home health aide but she was always there for anyone that needed her help.
Rae was very devoted to her family and friends and was lovingly called “Black Cat”, “Sweet Pea”, "Rae-Rae" or “Raeshe”. She lived a life full of laughter and joy with the brightest smile (and deep dimples) that could light up any room. Rae was a special soul and was loved by everyone she crossed paths with. She was not affiliated with any church or religion, but she was a spiritual-minded person who loved God. No doubt, it was this love that contributed to her spirit of love, generosity, warmth, and a genuine love of people. Her one of a kind spirit has left us all with countless happy memories.
Rae passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at the young age of 39. Although she is no longer with us on Earth, she will forever be in our hearts. Despite the circumstances, she would not want anyone to be sad on this day but for us all to think of her and smile in honor of the many fun loving moments we have all shared. Rae will truly be missed.
