Rashad Bailey

Rashad William Bailey, affectionately called "Shoddy", was born to Rene and William Bailey in Philadelphia, PA on May 21, 1993. From this union, he was the second of two children, having an sister, Ariane Bailey. On Monday, July 3, 2023, Rashad departed this life to go home to be with the Lord.

Rashad received his formal education in the Philadelphia Public School System, graduating from Frankford High School. He was employed by Empire and Delta Home Care. Rashad accepted Jesus Christ at a young age and attended West Park Church of Deliverance where he sang in the youth choir.

Rashad was easygoing, pleasant and family oriented. His favorite pastimes were listening to music, sports, video games, and spending time with family and friends. He was a loving father who took great pleasure in spending time with his son "RJ", daughter, Rayna, significant other, Brittany, and his cousins who were close to him like siblings.

Rashad was preceded in death by his grandmother, Pernell Bailey and his grandfather, William "Bill" Bailey.

Rashad leaves to forever cherish his memories his mother, Rene Bailey, his father William Bailey, his step mother Ethalia Bailey, his sister Ariane Bailey, two neices: Asja Bailey-Anderson and Jayla Bailey-Colclough, one son, Rashad Bailey, one daughter, Rayna Bailey, his significant other Brittany Hines, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
