Ronald “Smokey” Leake was born March 31, 1965 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania To late John
Nelson Leake and Ozella Leake.
Ronald received his education through the Philadelphia school system.
Ronald was Proceeded in death by his Father John Nelson Leake, his mother Ozella Leake, one
brother Kenneth Leake, one sister Linda Leake, one Nephew Rashann Jones, one great niece Baby Milan
Bey, and his grand parents on both sides.
Ronald Affectionately Know as “ Smokey” was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday
September 29, 2018 after a battling a long illness.
Ronald enjoyed watching television. Especially on Sundays to watch his favorite team play the
Philadelphia Eagles. Ronald loved being around his family and friends on his good and bad days. Ronald
also has a special place in his heart for kids.

Malave Leake, 3 brothers Willie C. Blueford of Fort Washington, MD, Johnnie Leake and Edward Leake
of Philadelphia, PA, 4 sisters Evoine Hill. Brenda Gilliam, Marcella Leake, and Karen Leake of
Philadelphia, PA, 3 sisters in law Cheryl Blueford, Deidra Jones, and Deidra Goodwin, 3 brothers in law
Rickey Hill, Joseph Bey, and Walter Gilliam, 2 step kids Saabir & Saamia, 1 goddaughter Seaveh, and a
host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends.
