On April 11, 1989 Steve Lomax was born to the late Stephen Lomax and Carrie Hamilton in Philadelphia, Pa . He was one of four children. He was the second born and only boy. Steve brought much joy and laughter to his parents, family and siblings. Steve grew up always smiling , playing and enjoying his family and friends. Steve began his early education at James G Blaine elementary school. At the tender age of 9 he experienced the tragic loss of his father. At that time Steve became the man of the house, in his words. However, Steve stayed strong and continued making his mother proud. Steve spent his high school years at Randolph Techinical high School, where he excelled and earned his Diploma. During that time he also met his high school sweetheart Brittany McBeth. On April 22, 2011 Steve and Brittanys were blessed with a beautiful baby girl, Kylie Sanae Lomax. Steve and Brittany doted on their baby girl. Steve took much pride in raising and spending time with his daughter.


Steve continued his education at Devry University in dreams of becoming an accountant. Steve also attended the Project DAD program at The People for People Organization. At the time Steve gained his safe cert, and forklift certification. He later gained employment at ACME where he became a butcher. Steve loved what he did and took pride in his work. He was looking forward to moving up with in the company. Steve enjoyed his life to the fullest. He enjoyed spending his down time with his family, friends and watching his favorite team the Eagles play.
On November 3,2019 GOD reached down and wrapped his arms around his beloved child Steve Lomax to take him home to be with his late father Stephen. His grandparents Ed and Bernice Hamilton, grandmother Tracy Butler, his uncle Petie and aunt Anne. Steve leaves to celebrate his life his mother Carrie, his four sisters Latisha, Ambria and Ra’Quel and Kayla. His daughter Kylie. His nieces and nephews, Derrick, Sa’Nya, Zoey and Omari. Four aunts Cynthia Hamilton and Estella Fuller (Ryan) Jade Lomax and Jasmynn Lomax. A host of cousins and friends that he held close and dear to his heart.
