Sylvester Cowart Jr.

Sylvester Cowart Jr. was born on August 11, 1960 in Philadelphia, Pa to the late Sylvester and Ann Marie Cowart, and he departed this life on November 12, 2019 at the young age of 59 years. Sylvester was educated through the Philadelphia public school system where he graduated from Jules E Mastbaum Vocational and Technical High School.

Early in his adult life, Sylvester held various jobs before becoming a Bulk Mail Handler for the United States Postal Service, where he retired after more the 20 years of service. He was always known to be the one on the grill during neighborhood functions.

Sylvester leaves to cherish his memories: Daughters; Melissa Renee Cowart, Erika Jones, (of Charlotte, NC) and Riana Walls-Cowart, Grandchildren; Jacorrion, Jayden, and Jordyn ,(of Charlotte NC), Brothers; Horace, (Deland ,FL),Kevin, Mike, Sisters; Vernice Cowart, (of Deltona, FL), Joyce Cowart, (of Deland, FL), Sylvia Cowart, (of Deland, FL), Aunts; Pat (Mother), Netta, Theresa, and Audrey, Uncles; Alvin, and Donald, and a host of cousins nephews and nieces.
