Terry Connor

On Tuesday August 7, 2018, Terry Theresa Connor, loving wife and mother of three children, passed away at the age of 57.

Terry was the third of four children born on September 26,1960 in Philadelphia, PA. Her parents James Drew and Lois Pauline Grandison Love and later Mr. Benjamin Watts whom became a part of her life as her Step Father. In her adolescent years, Terry had a special bond with her siblings Linda, Tanya and Ricky. They did just about everything together. She was a graduate of the Philadelphia school system. After graduation, Terry received her Certification in Phlebotomy from Watterson School of Business and Technology. Terry was gainfully employed with Albert Einstein hospital for over 20 years.

On August 20th, 1980, Terry and high school sweetheart Joseph S. Connor were united in holy matrimony. It was everything about her that keep them in a loving relationship of 38 years. From this union, they raised three children, Joseph Jr., Keith and Isaac.

Earlier in life, Terry developed a passion for modeling and singing in the gospel choir. Her greatest gifts in life were her three children. Terry truly loved life. She enjoyed simple pleasures such as playing the penny slot machines at the casino, chatting with friends and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.

She was a devoted Christian woman. She was a member of Zion Baptist Church and later joined Triumph Baptist Church of Philadelphia. Holding her son Joseph Jr’s hand, together they walked down the aisle of Triumph Baptist Church, to accept Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. Terry continued to serve her church as an usher and served on the security ministry.

Terry was known for her infectious smile and kind and compassionate spirit.

Terry was preceded in death by: her father James, mother Lois and brother Ricky. She is survived by her husband of 38 years Joseph; her three children, Joseph Jr. (Tilnise), Isaac (Samantha) and Keith; two grandchildren, Jeremiah and Jayla; two sisters, Linda Fuller (Charles), Tanya (Charles) and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
