Zenita Holmes-Deleon

Celebration of life

Zenita Areselle Holmes-Deleon was born December 8th , 1962 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Sallie J. Holmes and Tyrone Murrey. She was the oldest of 11 children, Two of her loving brothers Fred Clark and Curtis Holmes proceeded her in death.

She received education from Philadelphia Public School System , graduating from Olney High school, her first job was Candy Cane Factory. Zenita also worked as a teachers aid for the Philadelphia school District along with Philadelphia sanitation department until she became ill.

Later on in life she met her life long partner of 50 years Ernesto Deleon , with a marriage of 16 years. Zenita was a loving and caring person , She enjoyed music and entertaining her family and friends.Zenita accepted Christ as her savior in May 2019 at Child’s Memorial Baptist church. On Friday, October 9th, 2020 , God saw fit to pick our beautiful flower from this earthly garden.

Zenita Leaves to cherish her memory to her beloved husband : Ernesto Deleon , One Daughter Myrna , Five grandchildren: Tymire , Zaniyah,Zaira,Mekhi, Mahaya. Seven brothers, Two sisters . Loving Aunt Bunny ( who proceeded in her dead) A host of nieces and nephews and cousins. Two special mother in laws Betty S.Tyson and Frances Anderson . Four best friends, Shamina , Linda , Debbie, Darnell.
